The long, low building is set in landscaped gardens on a hillside at Arthur's Point in the Shotover River Valley, making it a delightful spot in summer to enjoy the hotel swimming pool and barbecue area. Quality Resort's Garden Restaurant opens for breakfast and dinner offering casual and relaxed dining. Rafters Bar is a cosy retreat after a day's activities. In warmer months drinks are served by the pool and in the hotel courtyard. A courtesy minibus shuttle operates to and from the city for guests who would like to eat out or do a little shopping.
