Millennium
Queenstown is a sophisticated 5 star hotel with a European flavour,
elegant decor and a full range of guest services ranging from babysitting
to remedial sports massage for skiers. The hotel is about 1 kilometre
from the city centre and a block from the shore of Lake Wakatipu. A
free shuttle service operates to and from the town. It has excellent
room facilities, though lake and mountain views are limited except from
the Observatory Restaurant and some function areas. The hotel is set
in landscaped gardens.
All
its 220 rooms, including 21 suites, are individually air-conditioned
and fitted with electronic key card locks, an automatic in-room instruction
service in case of emergency, and creature comforts such as a personal

Using the best of local produce, it offers everything from a light snack
to a superb a la carte meal with a choice of great wines. The Club Bar
opens 11am until late and serves light meals throughout the day.
