Resort Solway Park Masterton is set in 24 acres of landscaped grounds
in the lush Wairarapa Valley framed by the towering Tararua Ranges on
the outskirts of the town. Masterton is the largest centre in the lower
North Island 100 kilometres from Wellington. The large low-rise complex
has 56 deluxe and 42 standard rooms, 4 suites with spa baths, and 5
motel units. It also has a huge range of conference rooms seating from
20 to 400. The resort is in a major wine growing area and one that offers
many activities on land and water. Guests enjoy everything from a visit
to glow worm caves and arts and crafts tours to parachuting and abseiling.
