Kingsgate Hotel Brydone Oamaru is a delightful 3 star built of local stone in 1881. The interior of the historic building has been converted into suites and mini suites with private bathrooms, with new rooms in a modern extension. The hotel is on the main road between Christchurch (three hours drive) and Dunedin (one hour). It's a minute's walk from the town centre and a block from the harbour.
