Hanmer
Springs is an alpine thermal resort village just 90 minutes drive north
of Christchurch. It is here the North Canterbury icon Hanmer Lodge has
been transformed into the delightful 5 star retreat, The Heritage Hanmer
Springs. Set amongst mature trees 385 metres above sea level, and restored
to its original Spanish design of the 1930s, the luxurious resort offers

The
Heritage has 38 hotel rooms and 27 garden suites and villas positioned
for maximum privacy. All accommodation has private bathrooms with complimentary

and the Dining Room with its vast ceiling and roaring log fire in winter.

Dining Room features Pacific Rim cuisine with a traditional French touch,
complemented by the region's award winning Waipara district wines.
