Between April and August 2007, The Spencer on Byron Hotel is undergoing a major refurbishment, which includes all the rooms on floors 7 through 19, as well as the restaurant and bar. The changes to the rooms include new furniture, replacing the king split beds in some rooms with actual king beds, and removing the sofa beds in the lounges of the One Bedroom Suites.
